In 1996, she graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Dentistry with the second-ranked degree. In 2002, she graduated from Prosthetic Dentistry PhD program. She received the title of Associate Professor in 2007 and Professor in 2013.

Prof. Dr. Nilüfer Tülin Polat is a member of the Turkish Prosthodontics and Implantology Association and has over 21 years of clinical experience.

She has over 40 scientific papers, 15 of them published in very qualified scientific international journals indexed at the Science Citation Index and over 50 oral/poster presentations in national/international scientific meetings.

She has been a member of the journal’s editorial boards and an author of the book section. Prof. Dr. Nilüfer Tülin Polat and her team won the first prize in the FDI 2013 World Dentistry Congress with their scientific work.

She gave conferences as an invited speaker at national scientific meetings.

Professional interests are CAD/CAM dentistry, porcelain laminate veneers and restorative dentistry.
